We are Steff Stuff Design, an experiential interior design studio based in Los Angeles. Our mission is to help you define your commercial and residential spaces through creative, thoughtful, and transformative architectural design solutions. We bring hospitality-informed thinking to residential homes, boutique offices, and Los Angeles restaurant design across Pasadena, Eagle Rock, and DTLA.

Meet Stefanie cheng – principal & creative director

Steff Cheng is the Founder and Principal Designer of Steff Stuff Design, a Los Angeles–based studio specializing in interior design and architecture firm. With more than 14 years of experience, she leads projects with a people-first philosophy – creating spaces that are not only beautiful and comfortable, but also efficient, memorable, and never boring.

Before establishing Steff Stuff Design, Steff contributed to high-profile residential, commercial, and boutique hospitality projects across Los Angeles, the United States, and beyond. Today, her studio helps businesses, entrepreneurs, developers, and homeowners define their projects through design—whether it is a Los Angeles restaurant interior, apartment building, community asset, or a custom-built private residence.

She is an active member of AIA Los Angeles, the Urban Land Institute (ULI) through both the GROW and NEXT programs, and the Asian Business Association of Los Angeles (ABALA). Steff also serves on the ACE Next Gen Los Angeles board as a committee member, working on initiatives that empower small business owners to learn and thrive, as well as contribute to AAPI community endeavors, such as the annual APA Holiday Toy Drive.

Through both her local design practice and dedicated community advocacy work, Steff promotes architecture as a tool for connection, identity, and inspiration—helping clients realize their projects through thoughtful, people-centered design solutions.
